Introduire v นำเข้าไป Le Nouvel An La fête de la Saint-Sylvestre marquant la fin de l’année et l’avènement du Nouvel An, se veut moins traditionnelle que Noël. Elle clôt la "Semaine Joyeuse" (semaine du 24 décembre au 1er janvier) et se déroule normalement dans une ambiance très décontractée. On accueille l’An Nouveau avec du Champagne et un réveillon agrémenté de crustacés, d’huîtres ou bien de foie gras. Contrairement à Noël, la Saint Sylvestre n’a pas de référence religieuse et n’est d’ailleurs pas une fête de famille au sens classique, puisque souvent, on la fête entre amis. Cette fête n’a pas toujours eu lieu le 31 décembre. A Reims, on a longtemps fêté le début du Nouvel An le 25 mars, jour de l’Annonciation, à Paris cet événement se fêtait à Pâques. C’est finalement Charles IX qui a fixé le jour du Nouvel An au 1er janvier en introduisant le calendrier grégorien en 1563. Beaucoup de Français pratiquent la coutume de s’embrasser à minuit sous le gui en se souhaitant la bonne année. Quant aux feux d’artifices, ils sont le plus souvent organisés par les communes.

	Un Poèm Français © 2004 Katt Thrasher I wrote this in French class randomly one day, and for some reason felt like writing it in French. There's a translation below it, which I suppose kind of ruins the point for those that don't feel like reading through the French, but oh well :P There wasn't much of a point when I wrote it, but my teacher, Mr. Sawders, who translated most of it for me (much thanks, by the way ^_^), thought it was very morbid, but I think he's off his nut, so it's ok :P Je suis un petit oiseau, qui est vert, et violet, at blanc.Me chanteras-tu avec moi?Nous reveillerons le soleil avec nos chansons.Nous serons deux petits oiseaus de la musique.Je suis un beau papillon de toutes les couleurs.Voleras-tu avec moi?Nous dêgusterons le nectar des fleurs,Nous étincellerons avec le soleil sur les ailes. 	พ่อในความหมายสำหรับบางคนคือ เพื่อนสนิท ที่มีความสำคัญไม่ต่างไปจาก "แม่" แถมพ่อที่ดีๆ ยังเป็นฝ่ายทำมาหาเลี้ยงครอบครัวในฐานะเชียร์ลีดเดอร์ เอ้ย ช้างเท้าหน้าอีกด้วย ดังนั้นเวลาลูกอยากได้อะไรจึงมักวิ่งไปขอพ่อ เอ๊ะ หรือใช้ลูกตื๊อก็ไม่รู้ล่ะ เช่น ขอพ่อซื้อโทรศัพท์มือถือ, ขอซื้อคอมพิวเตอร์ หรือแบมือขอตังค์ไปเที่ยวกับเพื่อนยังมีเลย เพราะการเป็นพ่อน่ะต้องรับผิดชอบสูงน่ะสิ ดังนั้นพอถึง "วันพ่อ" ทั้งที ลูกอย่างพวกเราเคยคิดที่จะเก็บเงินซื้อของขวัญให้พ่อกันบ้างมะ ถ้าไม่คิดก็เริ่มคิดซะนะ ยิ่งหากใครยังมีพ่อเหลืออยู่เพราะยังไม่ได้เสียชีวิตไปซะก่อน ยิ่งควรหาทางทำให้พ่อดีใจหรือรู้สึกปลื้มใจที่มีลูกกตัญญู ด้วยการหาของขวัญเล็กๆ น้อยๆ ไปมอบให้ท่านบ้างก็ดีนะ ส่วนของขวัญที่จะแอบซื้อเพื่อไปมอบให้ท่านเป็นเซอร์ไพรส์กันน่ะเหรอ โถ ไม่ต้องซื้อของแพง! แค่ชุดไม้กอล์ฟสักชุดพอแล้ว.... อิอิ นั่นพูดเล่น แม้อันที่จริงพ่ออยากได้นะนั่น ทว่าหากไม่มีตังค์จนไม่สามารถคืนกำไรให้พ่อได้ขนาดนั้น ก็อย่าบ้าจี้ซื้อของชิ้นใหญ่ๆ เด็ดขาด หนำซ้ำบางทีถ้าจะให้อะไรพ่อทั้งที ไม่ต้องใช้ตังค์ซื้อก็ยังได้ คราวนี้จึงมีไอเดียนำเสนอ ของขวัญให้พ่อแฮป เช่น... 1. แนวไม่ต้องจ่ายตังค์ซื้ออะไรให้เลย แค่เข้าไปกราบท่าน หรือกอดก็ได้ถ้าสนิทกัน แล้วสัญญากับท่านว่าต่อไปนี้ลูกจะรักเรียน, ไม่เที่ยวเตร่, ไม่คบเพื่อนอันธพาล และจะมีความรับผิดชอบมากขึ้น ซึ่งก็ดีนะ อุ้ย หากพ่อได้ยินคงยิ้มแก้มปริ เพราะชาตินี้ไม่นึกว่าลูกจะทำตัวดีขนาดนี้...เอ้ย นึกไม่ถึงว่าลูกจะรักพ่อขนาดนี้ 2. ให้เวลากับพ่อบ้าง ถ้าพ่อแก่แล้ว และลูกมีหน้าที่การงานให้รับผิดชอบละก็ หยั่งงี้คงต้องกลับกัน โดยลูกควรหาเวลามาเยี่ยมพ่อที่เกษียณแล้วมั่งดี้ นี่แน่ะ สมัยก่อนลูกเคยรู้สึกว่าพ่อไม่มีเวลาให้เพราะพ่อต้องไปทำงาน ทีนี้รู้รึยังล่ะว่าพอตัวเองต้องทำงานมั่ง ทีนี้คงเข้าใจคำว่าไม่มีเวลาว่าเป็นไงแล้วนะ ฉะนั้นอย่าทำให้พ่อรอเก้อ แหม แค่สละเวลาแวะเวียนมาคุยกับท่านคงไม่เหลือบ่ากว่าแรง เพราะเวลาที่เราจะได้อยู่กับท่านนี่แหละมันไม่สามารถย้อนเวลากลับมาให้ทำตัวน่ารักอย่างนี้อีกน่ะซี 3. ให้กระเป๋าสตางค์พ่อมะ เผื่อเวลาพ่อควักกระเป๋าตังค์ออกมาซื้ออะไรจะได้คิดถึงลูกไง พอคิดถึงแล้วจะได้ซื้อของมาฝากลูกด้วย...ให้มันได้งี้สิ เหมือนให้บูมเมอแรงเลยอ่ะ ย้อนกลับมาหาลูกได้ด้วย ฉลาดนะยะ 4. ให้นาฬิกาดิ ผู้ชายกับนาฬิกาน่ะยังไงก็เป็นของคู่กาย จะได้ให้พ่อไปรับแม่ตรงเวลาที่นัดกันไว้ไงจ๊ะ หรือหากนัดกับลูก นาฬิกาเรือนนี้จึงช่วยเตือนความจำได้อย่างดี ส่วนราคาค่างวดของนาฬิกาก็ไม่ต้องแพง แต่ขอให้เหมาะกับข้อมือของพ่อก็พอ แค่นี้พ่อก็ชื่นใจแล้วเชื่อม้า
